  Had a pressing concern that I needed looked at and took the soonest date/time available. The day of my appointment it was pouring rain (could barely see through the window, was in traffic from 2 separate wrecks on the interstate, etc.). I made it to my appointment 15 minutes late, my son and I soaking wet from the rain and was told that I could not be seen because I was late. Since this was not a routine check-up, but a pressing issue that I need a referral from a Primary Care Physician before I can move forward with a biopsy I asked if they could please make an exception - this issue was concerning me greatly, I needed a referral before I could schedule with a specialist, I had rushed here directly after work, and was only late because of the torrential downpour. The older blonde secretary was very rude and unaccommodating. Even when a lady in the waiting room said that she could switch her appointment so I could be seen the secretary said no, it wouldn't work. I could not believe they would not take the specific situation into consideration and work me in. This situation was upsetting and I have already switched doctor's with my insurance and will be seeing a different doctor tomorrow for my concern.
